As we approach the 2008 boating season we will be preparing ourselves for our various activities.  In the Spring and early Summer we will be teaching the various Boating Safety Courses for the public, and we will have boating safety information booths at various public events.  Our Vessel Examiners will begin doing Courtesy Vessel Inspections for the public at the various marinas and launching ramps.  In addition our Flotilla will be conducting member training classes to train additional boat crewmen for on-water operations, additional vessel examiners, communications personnel and so on.  Also our members will be taking additional specialized training classes, either on-line or in the classroom, to upgrade their knowledge and qualifications. There are plenty of things to be done and I hope all of our Members will choose an area of interest and participate in these activities.
